I was a little concerned about this hotel after reading so many bad reviews, but I decided to give it a chance, since the location and the price were so perfect. I was not disapointed. The staff was very friendly, the room, the sheets, towels and bathroom were really clean. I could point two negative things about this room: it was really small (which was no problem, I was alone) and my pillow was nothing but a folded blanket inside a pillow cover. Other than that no complains. Could definitely stay here again.

Worst experience in a hotel ever. The room looked nothing like in the pictures, was below ground level in a noisy street. the window was open so the room was covered in dust and a spider. The bedding was damp to touch and with some suspish white marks on it. The towels had make up on them. Talked to the Manager and he said that no other room available but the could clean if we wait (told us to come back later/ it was already after 3pm). We check out immediately and the receptionist advised to request a refund (another 2 guests had just checked out for the same reasons). Hotel denied a refund saying that we didn't give them opportunity to clean the room or for them to offer another room.

This hotel is well located but this is where the praise stops. On check-in I noticed 20- something guests were charged a " damage deposit" -- not a good indication of the expected clientele . On pressing the elevator button, the car was stuck on an above floor . This occurred 3X during my 3 day stay. This old elevator displayed the ignorant handiwork of youth : stickers on the floor windows and some graffiti. The room, which came with a budget price , was a sorry mess. My room, which was smaller than a cell in Alcatraz , overlooked an air shaft. An experience suffused in gloom. No amount of cleaning would have changed the condition of the ancient, filthy carpet - used slippers the whole stay. The accommodating staff was no match for this horrible property. Avoid !

We never made it to the hotel as easyJet cancelled our flights, so we called the hotel as we had 3 nights booked, we weren't expecting a refund but did ask of a possible date change instead, strict policy that they won't do anything to help, won't even entertain it...and then wanted to charge us extra to cancel the booking, so left it as booked to save cancellation charge on top of the rudeness of the staff on contact
